I need ta stop making these thumbnails for videos I know I won’t make, man.

I need to know

I cannot find the will to finish the fucking video. My ability is being hindered by my technical limitations, swivel being shit, blender being shit, my laptop being shit. I can not find it in me to keep going forward with this project under these conditions. Others can persist under this, I can’t. It is getting nowhere with my laptop and my editing tools. I hate it so god damn much.

I don’t want to stop working on this project but I can’t find it in me to continue at this point in time. My storage is getting lower than low and I doubt I’d be able to finish a video now with such little space.

I’m just ranting at this point. I hate this god damned thing.

I think I’m having more fun making titles and thumbnails for my videos rather than actually writing them.

I’ve already got more Ideas for videos but I haven’t even made a script for either one of the videos I should be working on.

I don’t even know what to do with the video I’m writing right now! Let alone other videos!

writing is such a pain man

In 2005 MTV had a web show called MTV’s G-Hole. This show would basically be MTV’s answer for G4 in that it had game reviews, interviews, and skits. This show would air in 2006 as a show itself on the channel while MTV’s website would host uploads of the series there.

The reason I say this might be Newgrounds Related Lost Media is that this show is what lead to the creation of the Awesome Series Compilations made by @Egoraptor in 2007, with each Compilation having the G-hole branding when you load into them and in the selection screen. I tried going onto the site link in the Awesome Series Compilations but the site was long gone, I then went looking for reuploads of the series on YouTube with little luck, I also used the Wayback machine to try and find the original site until eventually I did find the videos, the only problem is that they were uploaded using Flash and I can’t play them.

I implore any of you to help me find these videos. I want this 20 episode series to be able to be watched today. The only things I have from the series are this reupload of one of the episodes and an upload of the intro.

I wanna make cartoon reviews.

Specifically about Flash Cartoons. Analysis videos about old Flash cartoons and new Newgrounds stuff. I find it kinda disappointing the lack of good videos about this topic. Not saying mine would be good, but I wanna see more discussion about it. I know there’s already channels on YouTube that do this sort of thing like BluShades and TwoLeftThumbs but BluShades does Internet in general stuff and only talks Flash during December. TwoLeftThumbs on the other hand, while being great, focuses on the Game and Character side from what I’ve seen. I don’t see people do the kind of thing cartoon reviewers do with Flash or Internet cartoon content.

The one person who I think did an amazing job was HatsOffMedia. His Indie Cartoon video was great and talked about LuckyBoy in it. I highly recommend it.

it’s all just an idea though. I implore anyone to do this. I just want more content talking about important things on Newgrounds or with independent internet animation in general.

I’m not gonna do it. I wanted to but I learned about it again way too late and I didn’t have good reference images for my characters. I also didn’t know Jack shit on how posting this stuff works.

What did come out of it was this drawing

and these character Thumbnails for who I’d be submitting. One of these is Newgrounds Ranger who I plan on making an actual character of mine and who’s thumbnail I made the basis for the others. It wasn’t initially for Art Fight but it worked for the Fight Card.

Instead of spending my time on multiple drawings for something I’ll be spending my time on multiple drawings for something else…
